About the Role
We are hiring a MEP Designer for our direct client. This role involves designing and drafting efficient, cost-effective plumbing systems for a variety of projects, including multi-family, commercial, institutional, and light industrial facilities. The position is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in plumbing system design and a passion for engineering excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and draft plumbing systems for residential, commercial, and light industrial projects.
- Create efficient plumbing layouts and specifications for multi-family and institutional facilities.
- Select, size, and specify plumbing fixtures, drains, and equipment based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and maintain project work plans.
- Ensure compliance with design schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Assist in coordinating designs with other disciplines, including HVAC and electrical.
- Review plumbing system designs for accuracy, efficiency, and code compliance.
- Utilize software tools such as AutoDesk Revit MEP to produce detailed designs and drawings.
