What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Engineer position at RBC?
Principal Responsibilities
- Solve technical problems supporting production.
- Manage technical projects to completion. This may include machine rebuilds, corrective actions, new product launches, machine repairs, lean activities, designing tooling, etc.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
Five (5) or more years of experience with progressive advancement in a manufacturing environment with bearings.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Project management ability to lead major manufacturing projects.
- Technical knowledge of bearing manufacturing equipment & processes.
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, Visio, etc.)
- Knowledge of mechanical & electrical design practices.
