Description

Web Developer

RC Willey is seeking a talented and experienced Web Developer to join our team. This position plays a key role in enhancing our online customer experience. You will design and develop engaging web interfaces using current technologies like React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. Your work will directly contribute to driving in-store traffic, online sales, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Create user interfaces and interactive prototypes based on wireframes and design specs.
Develop dynamic, visually appealing, user-friendly, and conversion-optimized web pages.
Ensure compliance with web accessibility standards (WCAG) and front-end best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance digital experiences.
Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and support continuous improvement.
Stay updated on web development technologies and industry trends.
Troubleshoot and resolve website functionality issues.
Support the development and maintenance of website architecture.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

2 years of professional web development experience

Experience with jQuery, SCSS, and version control systems (Git)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Helpful but Not Required

Experience with accessibility testing and implementation

Familiarity with backend technologies (e.g., Java, Spring MVC, MySQL)

Knowledge of UX / UI design principles
