RCW Athletic Club is a premiere tennis club in Central Pennsylvania, featuring 8 outdoor har-tru tennis courts, 6 indoor hard courts, and 2 Padel Courts. Since the club was bought under new ownership in 2020, the membership has grown exponentially, and the programming has been in high demand. We have an incredibly active tennis community, both adults and juniors, that are passionate about all aspects of tennis—clinics, lessons, USTA Teams, leagues, etc. We currently have an incredible team of pros that are reaching scheduling capacity.
Position Summary:
RCW Athletic Club is seeking a full-time Tennis Professional who brings energy, experience, and a true passion for the game. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives on the court, has a strong playing and coaching background, and is excited to work with players of all ages and levels. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing racquet sports community at one of Central Pennsylvania’s most active athletic clubs.
What You'll Do:
- Coach players of all levels—from young beginners to high-level juniors and adult competitors
- Teach private lessons, semi-private sessions, and run group clinics
- Engage with members and help build RCW’s already vibrant tennis culture
- Participate in club-wide events such as mixers, tournaments, and charity outings
- Help run USTA team practices, league play, and seasonal camps
- Rotate responsibilities for holiday clinics and special programming
- Maintain timely, professional communication with players and families
- Collaborate with fellow coaches and attend monthly team meetings
What We're Looking For:
- 4.5 playing level
- USPTA or PTR professional teaching certification
- Minimum of 2 years coaching experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and a team-first mindset
- Availability on evenings and weekends
- Positive attitude and a genuine passion for player development

Compensation:
- Base Salary: $50,000 annually
- Commission opportunities with total earning potential of $100,000 per year
