Join our dynamic team at RD Nutrition Consultants LLC, a leading Dietitian Nutritionist Consulting firm providing expert services to healthcare facilities nationwide. We are currently looking for a passionate Registered Dietitian to be a part of our growing team for a part-time position in the area for a hybrid-remote assignment.
Schedule: Flexible, Monday-Friday during normal business hours with only 2 onsite visits per month and the remaining hours completed remotely via telehealth.
Hours: 4 hrs per week; two onsite visits per month
Compensation: $30.00-$36.00 per hour, based on experience.
Commute Compensation: Paid at your hourly rate for travel time to and from the facility.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments, including screening for and addressing co-occurring mental health conditions, substance-related deficiencies, medication side effects, and disordered eating behaviors (anorexia, bulimia, binge-eating disorder).
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans tailored to each patient's specific needs, considering substance use history, co-occurring mental health conditions, and the impact of medications on appetite and metabolism.
- Provide nutrition education and counseling
- Collaborate closely with IDT team
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with all relevant regulations and HIPAA guidelines.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program.
- Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Current state licensure/certification (if mandated by the state)
- Minimum of 1 year clinical experience (preferred).
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Possesses the ability to apply critical thinking to a variety of situations, assess objectives, develop and implement and monitor effective plans for improvement.
- Proficiency in providing general nutrition interventions.
- Familiarity with state survey processes and adhering to nutrition care regulations
- Competency in electronic charting systems
