Accountant

RdF Corporation, a manufacturing company in southern NH, seeks an experienced cost accountant. The ideal candidate has a proven cost accountant background with experience in a manufacturing environment. Job duties include:

• Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports to compare standard costs to actual production costs.
• Provide management with reports specifying and comparing factors effecting prices and profitability of products or services.
• Accounting for cash transactions and cash flow reporting
• Responsible for monthly close including all journal entries and account reconciliations
• Oversight of A/R processing and A/P processing
• Reconcile cost of goods sold and inventories
• Maintain ERP system set ups to support accurate Cost Accounting Reporting. *Conduct physical inventories and monitor cycle count program.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 plus years of Accounting in a Manufacturing Environment.
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting.
• Must have a strong Cost systems background and have excellent analytical skills; sound understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with ERP/MRP manufacturing systems.
• Analytical skills with a keen sense of organization and attention to detail.
• Experience working with engineering and manufacturing personnel on development and analysis of cost standards.
• Ability to accurately prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from a four-year college or university and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
