Ready Foods has embraced lean manufacturing as our operating philosophy and takes inspiration from the Toyota Production System and the principles elucidated by Shigeo Shingo and Taiichi Ohno.
Our new Production Manager will be responsible for executing our production strategies, goals and objectives. We are looking for a Production Manager who also seeks perfection, embraces scientific thinking and focuses on process. The position is a full-time salaried position reporting directly to the Director of Operations.
Responsibilities Include:
- Strategic Plan Execution: Develop and lead the execution of our Production Strategic Plan.
- Lead, Manage and Hold Accountable: Provide Production Leadership. Work with direct reports to set goals, coach, offer help and give feedback.
- Organization Integration, Health and Culture: Align Production initiatives with other departments. Ensure successful teamwork. Maintain company culture of reliability, honor and trust.
- Operational Excellence: Grow our operational capabilities by continually improving. Identify and drive waste elimination initiatives. Work to eliminate constraints.
- Quality Assurance and Safety: Adhere to Ready Foods’ Quality Assurance and Safety programs.
- Supervisory Responsibilities: Production Superintendent, Production Supervisors (5)
Qualifications
Job Requirements include:
- 7 years manufacturing experience in a leadership role
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field required
- Knowledge and skills of working in a Lean organization
- Ability to effectively develop, mentor and coach team members
- Solid analytical skills; experience with RedZone a plus
- Production process knowledge
- Demonstrated skills as a Servant Leader who respects every individual and leads with humility
- Ability to ensure a safe working environment with appropriate behaviors
Salary : $88,896 - $137,739
