Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cable Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of phone, internet, and cable services. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency with hand tools, and a solid understanding of cabling and fiber techniques. The Cable Installer will work in the field, ensuring high-quality service delivery to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain cabling systems for telecommunications, including fiber optic and coax cables.
- Utilize tools such as RF and fiber meters to test and troubleshoot cable connections.
- Perform fiber splicing and ensure proper connectivity for optimal performance.
- Work with internet routers and other networking equipment to establish reliable communication channels.
- Conduct field service visits to diagnose and resolve customer issues effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service requests.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while adhering to safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cabling installation or as a service technician in the telecommunications industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools effectively.
- Familiarity with telecommunication systems and equipment, including routers.
- Experience with fiber splicing techniques is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently in various environments while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Pay: $700.00 - $1,100.00 per week
