- Competently Handle Complex Matters with Minimal Supervision
- Proficient Drafting of High-Quality, Timely Work Product (Correspondence, Trust and Estate Administration Documents, Court Petitions, etc.)
- Collaborate with Clients, Senior Attorneys and Other Team Members to Move Matters Toward Resolution Efficiently
- Review Client Issues on Legal Matters, Analyze Options and Diligently Work to Determine the Best Course of Action
- Confidently Represent Clients at Hearings and Other Legal Proceedings
- Remaining Current with Related Estate, Trust and Tax Legislation
- Delegate Work to Paralegals and Legal Assistants, and Monitor and Review their Work
- Other Duties as Assigned
- JD Degree from Top-Tier Schools; LLM in Tax or Estates & Trusts Preferred
- Licensed and in Good Standing with the California State Bar
- At least 5 Years of Relevant and Demonstrative Trust and Probate Administration Experience with a Reputable Firm
- Significant Estate and Gift Tax Planning Experience
- Specialized Experience with High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth Individuals
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills; Engages with Clients with Ease
- Strong Research and Drafting Skills; Precise, Detail-Oriented and Focused
- Extremely Self-Sufficient and Dependable; Skilled at Follow-up and Organization
- Reliable Team Player; Committed to Professional and Firm Growth and Development
- Familiarity with Local Court Rule and Procedures (Los Angeles County)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); Comfortable with Technology including Document Management Software and Timekeeping Applications
