Information Technology (IT) Specialist

Reciprocity Industries, LLC is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Specialist to join our growing team. The IT Specialist will play a critical role in supporting our workforce by providing technical assistance, managing user access, and maintaining hardware inventory. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation with Windows and Google Workspace, with a desire to expand their skills in network troubleshooting, cloud services, and scripting languages.

Job Overview:

The IT Specialist provides technical support and assistance to employees of Reciprocity Industries, LLC, and other contracted organizations.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide in-house and remote technical support to our workforce.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues including hardware, software, and networking problems.
• Maintain and manage access to various systems including email, network drives, and software applications.
• Manage and maintain PBX system including creating and editing flows, DIDs, and user access.
• Manage user access, permissions, and system administration tasks in Windows and Google workspace.
• Document processes, both new and existing, as needed.
• Assist with the implementation of new software applications, hardware, and IT projects.
• Conduct regular maintenance and updates to systems to ensure they are running efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain accurate hardware inventory records.
• Keep up to date with new and emerging technologies in the IT field.
• Light System Administration duties, including but not limited to:
  • Assisting with user account management, permissions, and group policy administration
  • Assisting with backup and disaster recovery processes.
  • Assisting with patch management and software updates.
  • Assisting with network monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Other duties as assigned

• 
  Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with network troubleshooting and design.
• Familiarity with Amazon Connect and other PBX systems.
• Experience in hardware inventory management and deployment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, GCP or Azure is a plus.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, and or Bash.
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , or CCNA are a plus.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field; OR relevant work experience
