What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Director position at Recovery Point of Huntington Inc?
Summary/objective: The Program Director works directly with the Deputy Director and Leadership staff of Recovery Point of West Virginia and is responsible for overseeing program operations of the facility assigned to them and will ensure fidelity of the model.

· Ensure that the integrity of the “Recovery Point West Virginia” social model of recovery stays intact.
· Provides leadership for other staff members and residents.
· Promotes a safe working environment for all staff and residents
· Maintains official records and documents, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
· Maintains a working knowledge of significant developments and trends in the field
- Cultivates and nurtures a sound working relationship and cooperative arrangement with community groups, organizations, and individuals
- Represents the programs and point of view of the organization to agencies, organizations, and the public.
- Assists Human Resources with the recruitment, employment, and release of all program monitors.
- Be on-call after regular working hours periodically to address pressing issues
- Be responsible for developing and maintaining sound financial practices
- Attends all Recovery Point local events, serving as an Ambassador of Recovery in the community
- Creates and maintains monthly schedules for all Recovery Point West Virginia staff reporting to their assigned facility
- All other duties as assigned
Education/Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree in human services field preferred. A minimum of 2-years working in the recovery field is required. Valid driver’s license and access to transportation required.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, basic computer skills is required. Must have a flexible schedule.
Work Environment: Work is performed primarily in an office setting but travel may be required. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit; walk; talk and hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, crawl, reach, and stretch. The employee is occasionally required to move around the office. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. May occasionally be required to lift up to 20 lbs. Travel may be required.
