Workday Finance Analyst – Implementation Support
Our client is currently rolling out Workday, with a primary focus on HCM and selected Finance modules. With implementation nearing completion, they are moving into end-to-end testing. This role will be critical in supporting the Finance side of the implementation and post-launch enhancements.
Role Overview
As the Workday Finance Analyst, you will be the go-to resource for functional support during the implementation process. You’ll work closely with business users, provide guidance through testing phases, and help shape post-launch system improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver day-to-day functional support for Workday Financials.
- Partner with end users to troubleshoot issues, support user acceptance testing, and deliver training.
- Lead testing efforts during implementation and future Workday releases (twice annually).
- Apply finance expertise to support configurations such as reversals, security roles, and custom table setups.
- Participate in enhancing and expanding system functionality post go-live.
Qualifications
- 7–10 years of hands-on Finance experience across core areas: AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, etc.
- Solid experience working within Workday Financials.
- Strong understanding of financial business processes and systems.
- Familiarity with ERP platforms like JD Edwards or SAP is a plus, but not required.
