By combining elite legal talent with proprietary AI workflows, they drastically accelerate contract review timelines—from 24–48 hours down to just 60 minutes. This is not a traditional law firm or an old-school legal department; here, legal is the product.Their mission is to reimagine what it means to provide commercial legal services in the AI era. You’ll be joining a small, ambitious team of lawyers and engineers who are obsessed with eliminating grunt work and scaling top-tier legal services with technology.

What You Will Do

• Provide high-quality commercial legal services to fast-growing companies, including reviewing and negotiating SaaS agreements, NDAs, MSAs, and vendor contracts.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to test and improve internal AI tools that enhance legal workflows.
• Be an active contributor to a fast-paced legal product team, helping to define how legal services are structured, delivered, and evolved.
• Act as a legal thought partner to startup founders and operators, offering quick, business-aligned legal counsel.
• Occasionally respond to urgent contract review needs ("on-call" model), ensuring clients receive fast, accurate support.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 2–3 years of experience at a top-tier law firm (e.g., Cravath, Debevoise, Cooley, Fenwick, Latham, WLRK, etc.).
• Strong experience reviewing and drafting commercial contracts, particularly SaaS or tech-related agreements.
• JD from a top 10 U.S. law school and undergraduate degree from a top university.
• Highly collaborative, low-ego, and excited about building something new in a fast-moving environment.
• Comfortable working fully onsite in NYC (Union Square) 5 days a week.
• Previous experience in tech, consulting, finance, or entrepreneurship is a major plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 years of in-house experience at a high-growth tech company or startup.
• Familiarity with indemnification, limitation of liability, and other core commercial contract clauses.
• Exposure to or interest in artificial intelligence tools applied in legal settings.
• Experience working in a team experimenting with new technology or workflows in a services environment.
• Prior involvement in early-stage startup environments or team-building efforts.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base Salary: $175,000 – $210,000
