Overview:
The Loan Servicing Associate I is responsible for performing a variety of back-office loan operations functions, regularly multitasking and working to meet daily deadlines. This position reports to the Director of Financial Operations and works in a team setting.
Responsibilities:
Complete daily trust account bank reconciliations.
Complete daily lender account bank reconciliations.
Review trust accounts (escrow, loan servicing, holdback) and take appropriate and timely actions.
Process checks and ACH payments received from borrowers for loan payments.
Process borrower loan payoffs.
Complete daily bank deposits online.
Complete loan fee and holdback transfers.
Research and clear stale dated checks.
Bank statement filling.
Requirements:
Business, finance, or accounting degree.
Effective organization and time management skills.
An acute attention to detail.
Sage Intacct experience or similar accounting system.
The ability to multi-task.
Aptitude for problem solving.
A pro-active approach to accomplish tasks.
Compensation:
The pay for this position is $22-$23/hour, plus performance-based bonus.
