Role Description
Join the dedicated team at Red Baron Transportation as a Gatehouse Attendant in our Plattsburgh, NY location. We are seeking a committed individual who prioritizes safety and exhibits a strong work ethic. As a Gatehouse Attendant, you will play an essential role in maintaining the security and efficiency of our transportation operations. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the entry and exit of trucks, verifying necessary documentation, and ensuring the overall safety of the yard.
Key Responsibilities

• Check paperwork before granting entry.
• Validate driver identities.
• Alert staff of incoming vehicles and deliveries.
• Stay vigilant during late hours.
• Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail.

Qualification Standards

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal aptitudes.
• Acute attention to detail with the capacity to remain attentive and concentrated for extended durations.
• Basic computer proficiency for record-keeping and communication.
• Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and a high degree of responsibility.
• Capable of working autonomously with scant supervision.
• Mandatory wear of steel-toed footwear.
• Capability to lift weights up to 25lbs.

• Compensation $15.50 per hour.

Schedule

• 7am-7pm 322 rotations: three days working and two days off, then two days working. Rotates the same
