Red Box Hibachi is hiring front of the house staff for our location in Seymour. As a front of the house team member, you'll be a key part of our guest experience, providing excellent customer service and handling transactions with speed and accuracy. Pay Rate: $18 - $21 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, offering suggestions and answering menu questions.
- Process transactions quickly and correctly, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods.
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier station, ensuring adequate supplies are stocked.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues with a positive and professional attitude.
- Assist with other front-of-house tasks as needed, such as bussing tables or running food, contributing to a smooth service flow.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including cash handling and food safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
- 2 years food service experience within the last 4 years.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A stable employment history demonstrating reliability and dedication.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, quick-service environment.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail for accurate transactions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team player mentality.
