Pay: $18.50 - $21.50 ( $2.00 Shift Differential)

Available Shifts (Monday – Friday)

3rd Shift: 11:00pm - 7:30am

Introduction:

As a Machine Operator you are responsible for all machine-specific functions such as configuring the equipment, loading, and operating the machines, and optimizing the machine capability.

Job Responsibilities:

• Calibrate, operate, and maintain production & packaging equipment to meet quality standards.
• Ensure Machines are regularly checked and cleaned.
• Monitor and control the machines’ performance and settings.
• Regularly conduct tests of the machine performance and operating capacity
• Inspect machinery with appropriate tools.
• Feed raw materials into semi-automated machine performance and operating capacity.
• Check the output of the machines and identify any issues.
• Keep an updated database on all of the machine’s information, defective units and final products
• Maintain log of the activity and regularly submit performance report.
• Understands and complies with all current GMP, safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain quality standards by sampling product and comparing with established standards
• Use knowledge and understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices as they apply to storage of food product in performance of all duties

Job Requirements:

• Previous manufacturing machine operation experience
• Experience operating a forklift (Preferred)
• Ability to safely operate and maintain equipment with a high degree of precision and control in work where product quality is of the highest priority.
• Excellent verbal communication.
• Self-motivated and team orientated.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
