Delivery Driver

Job description

Red River Pharmacy is looking for a part-time courier with a great attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond to ensure our patients and facilities are taken care of properly. Perfect for the retired individual looking for additional income during the afternoon and evenings! Previous courier or driving experience preferred, but not required. Company car provided.

Responsibilities:

- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with residential patients and long-term care facilities

- Safely and efficiently operate a variety of vehicles

- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of packages and goods

- Load and unload packages and goods

- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery documentation

- Maintain a clean working environment including company vehicle, loading area, and other parts of the pharmacy as directed

Requirements:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

- Commercial driving experience preferred

- Strong knowledge of local roads and routes

- Ability to lift heavy packages and goods, often weighing up to 50 pounds

- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
