This is a full-time Sales Engineer position based in Scott Depot, WV, and requires on-site work. The Sales Engineer will work closely with clients to understand their lifting and load measuring requirements, provide tailored solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include generating and following up on sales leads, preparing technical proposals, and collaborating with the internal technical team for custom solutions. Additional duties involve maintaining knowledge of the product range, providing technical support, and building long-term customer relationships through exceptional service.
- Strong sales and customer relationship management skills, including communication and negotiation abilities.
- Technical knowledge related to powered lifting equipment, load measuring instruments, and related solutions; prior experience in a similar field is a plus.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess client needs and recommend suitable technical solutions.
- Experience with project management and the ability to coordinate between technical and sales teams effectively.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prepare accurate technical proposals and sales documentation.
- Proficiency in standard business applications and tools; familiarity with CRM software is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical Sales, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience will also be considered.
- Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively in a team setting.
- Experience in the lifting or industrial equipment industry is highly desirable.
