Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming environment for patrons. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks while maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils
- Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of beverage recipes and preparation methods
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse clientele
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
- Understanding of food safety regulations
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic math skills for handling payments accurately
- Hospitality mindset to create a welcoming atmosphere
