OVERVIEW:
The Senior Producer has a proven deep development of the Producer core competencies. This person not only has a firm handle on project management and company processes, but they also have the natural tendency to be able to see the “bigger picture” to be able to identify business development opportunities, whether on behalf of RED VELVET or a Client. S(he) is an advisor and partner to Clients and peers, with a keen ability for managing programs composed of multiple complexities and respective Clients. S(he) is able to identify opportunities to further develop the Professional Services department as well as provide support to the team in the efficient workflow of key administrative and managerial tasks that help ensure the Professional Services team runs smoothly. The Senior Producer knows the company’s structure inside and out, has exceptional business skills, servant-oriented mindset, and diplomacy.

[CUMULATIVE] KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Program Lifecycle
  • Ability to comfortably flex and know when to work independently vs. managing a program from a people level and delegating tasks so that (s)he can oversee more programs and/or complex programs with a larger support staff.
  • Excellent budgeting/financial skills, continuously identifying pricing and expanded business opportunities with Account Lead to increase company net revenue (e.g. pricing strategy insight that could help maximize profits, identifying new contacts and/or departments within accounts, providing intel that connects to a bigger piece of the account, etc.).
  • Experience with all facets of planning, managing, and executing.
  • (S)He goes the extra mile to ensure a program is executed flawlessly but also ensures the same high standards from the rest of the team. 

Business Leadership & Development
  • Team Development - May be a direct supervisor to team members within the Professional Services department. A teacher and mentor that the team, and especially the department, naturally looks to. Advises and counsels the department in universal lessons learned from years of experience; takes opportunity to develop and grow the team. Has a thorough understanding of the Agency process and aids the team in understanding. 
  • Business Development - Fluent in RED VELVET capabilities and can effectively represent company’s offerings to prospects, existing Clients and internal team alike

  • Accomplishments of all key areas of responsibilities listed above and the Producer job description 
  • Proven track record in current position and demonstrated capability and initiative to continue to grow into role
  • Excellent standing with the agency defined by performance review, agency reputation, client and peer feedback 
  • Is seen as a leader both within the team and with the client
  • Proven ability to successfully maintain and grow business through excellent project management and efficient use of resources
  • Ability to successfully motivate and mentor a team
  • Work successfully and in tangent with other company leaders
