What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietary Supervisor position at Redbanks Nursing Home?
We are currently hiring a full-time Dietary Supervisor to assist the Dietary Manager with the supervision of the Dietary Department.
Redbanks is a locally managed, community focused, not-for-profit, Skilled Nursing Center located in Henderson, Ky. the primary tasks include requisition of supplies and equipment; purchasing of the food. Keep records and compile reports concerning technical and administrative operations. Assist in managing the Dining Services Department within budget.
Qualifications:
- Ability to relate positively, effectively and appropriately with residents, families, community members volunteers and other facility staff. Possess special interest in, and a positive attitude about, working with long-term care residents.
- Ability to taste and smell food to determine quality and palatability.
- Ability to handle and manipulate equipment in supervising, demonstrating, and assisting in food preparation and serving.
- Supervisory manager experience and institutional kitchen experience.
- Computer experience a must.
