Position Overview:

We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated Merchandising Specialist to join our team. This is a highly dynamic, hands-on role requiring frequent travel to customer locations to merchandise prize displays, train clients, and collaborate closely with teams. As a road warrior, you will be on the front lines, working directly with customers to execute merchandising strategies and ensure the best possible redemption experience. This role requires creativity, critical thinking, the capacity to direct a customer’s team, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Primary Responsibilities:

• Travel to customer locations for merchandising installations and work side-by-side with customer teams to set up displays.
• Lead and direct customer teams during the setup process, ensuring efficient and attractive displays.
• Train customers on expert merchandising, redemption best practices, and how to use our e-commerce platform.
• Continuously innovate merchandising techniques to meet customer needs and drive sales.
• Assist with trade show displays and preparation, ensuring a seamless setup and impactful presentation.
• Manage and track on-site travel budget, ensuring all expenses align with predetermined KPIs.
• Create merchandising projects, following Redemption Plus’ strategies and best practices, including planograms and building orders.
• Be prepared to stand for long periods, with frequent bending and kneeling involved.
• Lift and move boxes (up to 50 lbs) safely and efficiently during setup and teardown.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth and consistent execution of merchandising projects and client requests.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Organized, self-motivated, and energetic with a strong customer-obsessed mindset.
• Creative problem solver who can think on their feet and adapt quickly to changing situations.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure quality in every display and customer interaction.
• 2-3 years of experience in merchandising and retail.
• High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Must be able to rent a car and travel to customer locations.
• Ability to travel 50-75% of the time (weekend travel may occur, though not frequently).
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, often-ambiguous, customer-facing environment, with a willingness to work irregular hours when needed.
• Travel enthusiast with a passion for being on the road.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint and Excel preferred.
• Experience with Shelf Logic or other planogram software preferred.

Flexible Work Options:

This position is eligible to WFH (work from home) part time after 30 days of continuous employment with Redemption Plus and in accordance with the policy as defined in the Employee Handbook. This privilege is contingent upon the employee verifying a minimum home internet connection of 10Mb Download and Upload to ensure quality voice over IP experience for our customers.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this position the team member is regularly required to sit, talk and hear. This position frequently requires the use of hands to handle or feel and reach with hands, arms and fingers. This position is occasionally required to stand, walk, kneel down, climb a ladder and drive or ride in a motor vehicle. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 - 50 lbs. The team member must have the ability to travel, sometimes with short notice. This team member must also possess the ability to work effectively in an open working space, solve problems and interpret data quickly while demonstrating a high degree of inclusive collaboration.
