Job Description: Caregiver (In-Home Support)
We are seeking compassionate, dependable Caregivers to provide non-medical, in-home support to seniors and individuals with disabilities. This is an essential role in helping our clients maintain comfort, safety, and independence in their homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry
- Support clients with mobility, transfers, and medication reminders
- Provide transportation to appointments, errands, or recreational activities as needed
- Maintain accurate records of care and report any changes in client's condition to the supervisor
- Follow care plans and safety guidelines provided by the agency and healthcare professionals
- Valid California Driver’s License
- Reliable vehicle with valid car insurance
- Current LiveScan background check
- Active CNA and/or HCA registration (Home Care Aide); we can assist in obtaining HCA
- COVID-19 vaccination
- Recent physical exam and negative TB test
- Minimum 2 years of caregiving experience (New grads encouraged to apply!)
- Strong communication skills, empathy, and patience
- Must be able to work independently and follow instructions
- Flexible shifts (Full-time & Part-time)
- $18-19 per hour
- Mileage reimbursement for client-related travel
