What are the responsibilities and job description for the Respiratory Therapist position at Redlands Community Hospital - RESPIRATORY THERAPY?
Under the direction of the Cardiopulmonary Director and Supervisor of Cardiopulmonary performs therapy directed towards the treatment and normalization of patients, ranging from Neonatal to Geriatrics, with abnormalities or deficiencies of the pulmonary system. Performs diagnostic procedures within the Cardiopulmonary Service.
Ability to meet all job & physical requirements as outlined in job description or as agreed through a work place accommodation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Currently licensed by the State of California as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
2. Current BLS required.
3. Associate's or higher in Respiratory Care required.
4. NRP required if assigned to NICU.
5. Current valid drivers license and auto insurance if assigned to SNF.
6. Completion of Respiratory Therapy program as indicated by diploma or official transcripts if performing arterial blood gas draws and sampling.
7. NBRC RRT required.
