Work closely with other departments to define and analyze system problems and design testing standards for web based healthcare software solutions. An advanced role in all aspects of the Information Technology Department including database analysis, query writing, creation of stored procedures, SSIS packages, SQL jobs, and data movement.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate to define projects, develop, and interpret business rules, and debug technical issues when they arise to ensure data integrity among systems.
- Apply business and database analysis skills to gain deep understanding of user needs.
- Utilize T-SQL to develop custom DB objects, stored procedures, functions, and queries.
- Design and implement SSIS packages and other ETL processes.
- Communicate project status and planning activities with team and customers.
- Troubleshoot slow performing queries and DB servers.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and technologies.
- Works independently and within the team structure.
BACKGROUND
- Solid experience with all phases of enterprise software design and development.
- Strong experience with SQL Server 2008 or higher and T-SQL development.
- Solid experience with SSIS development and deployment.
- Good experience with Dimensional Modeling and Data Warehouse Development
- Knowledge of DBA role such as backup, restore and security.
- Good experience with OOD for software in an enterprise environment using the MS Visual Studio suite of tools.
- Proven analytical skills interpreting and implementing business and functional requirements.
