Pay: Selected candidate will be eligible for 10% team lead bonus
Summary:
Lead production department in producing product with good efficiency, quality, and cost. Work directly with department supervisor to determine daily/weekly activities and requirements.
Examples of Duties:
- Assist the supervisor with assigned areas and activities as required.
- Assume duties and responsibilities of supervisor in their absence (when senior team lead and supervisor are unavailable).
- Has thorough knowledge of all processes in department they're assigned too.
- Assist with training of new/transferred personnel in department.
- Work to maintain and improve safe working conditions.
- Verify department employees are following all safety policies.
- Will need to work in production area as needed.
- When defects or errors are present team lead is required to determine root cause and then implement corrective measures.
- Assist supervisors with proper required maintenance of all machinery and equipment in their department.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Be able to interpret/read all shop drawings and floor plans.
- Recommend and determine methods of improvement for safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Complete various tasks as assigned by supervisor.
- Required to use small hand and power tools.
- May be required to work elsewhere as directed by their department supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Understanding of Microsoft Office suite of programs.
- Skill in written and verbal communication.
- Ability to lead others and influence them to support standard work practices and company objectives.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities.
Minimum Requirements:
- 3 Years manufacturing experience or related associate/bachelor's degree.
