Position Summary:
The Quality Technician’s responsibilities include assisting with the development of quality systems, procedures, and quality controls to ensure that products consistently meet performance and quality specifications. The Quality Technician is a strong technical resource who quickly, effectively, and permanently resolves quality problems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Along with those identified below, other duties may be assigned
- Review & understand customer test requirements
- Set up & operate various testing equipment
- Operate real time x-ray operation
- Perform and interpret test results
- Perform and document results of life testing
- Independent preparation of customer test reports
- Support quality team in setting lab priorities and day to day operation, including preparation & maintenance of schedules to meet OTD for lab tests/requirements
- Perform receiving inspection using inspection equipment/software
- Assist in QPL/DLA maintenance reporting
- Perform 1st article inspections
- Perform final pre-cap inspections
- Support multiple testing projects simultaneously
- Coordinate with production control and operations to obtain test parts and to ensure compliance with lab delivery schedules
- May assist with equipment audits & calibrations
- May be required to work occasional overtime
- Other duties as assigned
- High School education or GED equivalent
- Experience with various test/lab equipment
- Must have demonstrated ability to solder;
- Must possess a basic understanding of electricity and electrical quantities, such as current, voltage, etc.
- Must have experience with computers & be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Must have good eyesight and hand eye coordination
- Technical Associates Degree
- Familiarity with ISO9001 and/or AS9100 Quality System requirements
- Soldering certification preferred
