Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Scheduler to join our team. The Scheduler will be responsible for coordinating and managing the staffing schedules for our Nurses and CNAS. This position requires previous experience in a skilled nursing environment and a strong understanding of scheduling principles.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate staffing schedules to ensure appropriate coverage for all shifts.
- Coordinate with department managers to understand staffing needs and priorities.
- Manage employee time-off requests and schedule adjustments.
- Communicate effectively with staff regarding scheduling changes and updates.
- Monitor and track attendance, lateness, and overtime.
- Address scheduling conflicts and make necessary adjustments to ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Collaborate with HR to onboard new staff and maintain up-to-date employee records.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in scheduling, preferably in a skilled nursing environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
