Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional guest services.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
- Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials while answering any questions they may have.
- Communicate effectively with the waitstaff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, assisting with reservations or general questions.
- Monitor dining area to ensure cleanliness and a pleasant atmosphere for guests.
- Clear and reset tables as needed
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A background in food service or hotel operations is advantageous but not required.
