What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Manufacturing Support Technician position at Regeneron?
We are currently looking to fill a Lead Manufacturing Support Technician position with a 1st shift, Thurs-Sun, 6:00 a.m-4:30 p.m schedule. Regeneron optimally manufactures a range of biopharmaceuticals for patients worldwide, including our approved therapeutic proteins and those involved in clinical studies. Our Lead Manufacturing Support Technician is responsible for performing leadership-related activities with their direct reports and oversight of contract employees.
As a Lead Manufacturing Support Technician, a typical day might include the following:
Level I - HS diploma/GED/Leaving Cert; 0-2 yrs of related work experience, college degree may be preferred;
Level II - HS diploma/GED/Leaving Cert; 2 yrs of related work experience, college degree may be preferred;
Level III- HS diploma/GED/Leaving Cert; 4 yrs of related work experience, college degree may be preferred.
Proven Experience May Substitute For Education Requirements.
Level is determined based on qualifications relevant to the role.

As a Lead Manufacturing Support Technician, a typical day might include the following:
- Provides on-the-floor leadership to Regeneron employees and oversight to contract employees.
- Ensures employees timesheets are completed on time.
- Participate with employees training, to ensure that all requirements are met.
- Perform minimally monthly performance feedback meetings with direct reports. (FTE) Raises all performance issues to Manager and/or Directors and/or HR.
- Reviews and observes equipment cleaning tasks related to small parts used in clean rooms (process areas) per approved standard operating procedures (SOPs) and in accordance with production schedules.
- Keeps process areas stocked with crucial equipment and components needed for small parts cleanings.
- Coordinates small part inventories in Process Areas.
- Follows current good manufacturing practices (cGMPs) including proper documentation of training.
- Ensures all tasks are performed in a manner consistent with safety standards.
- Collect, review, and provide supporting documentation for initiatives/investigations as necessary.
- On-the-floor leadership experience and oversight over direct reports.
- Experience with current good manufacturing practices (cGMPs).
- Knowledge of clean rooms and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
