Region 3 Behavioral Health Services in Partnership with the Buffalo County Tobacco Free Coalition (BCTFC) is hiring for a Prevention Coordinator

What you’ll do!
Provide technical assistance, training, and support to communities and coalitions working to reduce alcohol, tobacco, and other drug misuse in their community. The Prevention Coordinator implements the goals of the BCTFC work plan including reducing tobacco use, vaping, and eliminating exposure to secondhand smoke.
What you’ll need!
- Bachelor’s degree in a human services related field.
- Experience working with diverse groups.
- Basic understanding of alcohol, tobacco, and other drug prevention concepts and services.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to independently plan and organize time, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
- Facilitation skills to effectively teach Mental Health First Aid Training and Drug-Free Workplace Training.
- Ability to effectively write grants.
- Marketing/Media experience is a plus, but not required.
- Satisfactory background check is required.
