Substance Abuse Counselor
We are currently searching for dedicated clinical professionals to provide compassionate psychotherapy services to individuals with a mental health, intellectual / developmental disability or substance use disorder diagnosis.
Responsibilities :
Perform intake assessments, individual, family and group counseling sessions
Development and implementation of treatment plans
Management of the clients’ medical records including, but not limited to, completion of all clinical documentation in a timely manner and the development and updating of Individual Service Plan
Provide immediate emergency crisis intervention services
Assist in providing and implementing consultation and education services as needed
Participate in clinical staff meetings, general staff meetings and in-service training
Education
Master’s degree in Psychology or a Mental Health related field
Qualifications :
Valid Mississippi Driver’s License
Pass a Criminal Background Investigation
Must be proficient in computer skills for daily documentation with Electronic Medical Records
