What are the responsibilities and job description for the Point of Care Test Coordinator position at Regional Hospital of Scranton?
The Point-of-Care Testing Coordinator is responsible for the technical and / or direct supervision of the laboratory point-of-care testing program for the Commonwealth Health Scranton Market. Bachelors or Associates degree in Medical Technology or a related science field. MT(ASCP) or CLS(NCA) or equivalent certification or registration preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work closely and effectively with other hospital departments and their respective leaders. Previous experience with maintaining and administering laboratory point-of-care testing programs. Minimum of five years experience as a Medical Technologist in a clinical setting.
