Located a ½ mile from the Atlantic Ocean and 15 minutes from Portland, RSU 23 is a school district seeking a Districtwide Utility Worker (maintenance).
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
JOB SUMMARY
RSU 23 – Old Orchard Beach Schools has an immediate opening for a Districtwide Utility Worker (maintenance). This individual will be working in all of RSU 23’s schools/operations performing custodial, grounds keeping, maintenance, and possible bus driving opportunities. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude, have reliable transportation, and a valid CDL with school bus endorsement (or the ability to obtain school bus endorsement within 6 months) as well as good time management/organizational skills. This position is year-round. During the school year, hours for this position are primarily from 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and occasional weekend work and overtime is required. Summer hours may vary from this schedule. Hours and work location are subject to change at any time to reflect district needs.
