What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Technician position at Regional West Health Services?
Regional West Health Services is an independent, integrated health care delivery system based in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. We are actively looking for caring individuals to join the team as a Pharmacy Technician.
As a RWMC Pharmacy Technician, you will:
- Interpret and prepare oral, injectable, and other routes of unit dose medications for patients being cared for at RWMC
- Deliver medications to our automated dispensing units on the nursing floors.
- Operate the unit dose packaging machine, scanning equipment and bar coding software and printer
You may be a good fit if you:
- Have a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Have no drug related felony or misdemeanors
No registration or certification required to apply. However, you will be asked to register with the State of Nebraska as a Pharmacy Technician prior to your start date.
