What are the responsibilities and job description for the Enterprise Endpoint Administrator, Associate position at Regulated Companies?
Provides technical hardware and software service in the form of set-up, configuration, testing, installation, maintenance, operating systems and break/fix of all physical/virtual endpoints, peripherals, and applications supported. Provides on-site, telephone, email, chat, and other methods of customer support for inquiries and problems. Coordinates resolution efforts with other departments and staff and maintains appropriate service records and documentation. All MDU Resources employees are responsible for placing safety as #1 priority in their day-to-day work routines for themselves and others.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A working knowledge of information technology concepts at a level normally acquired through the completion of four years of combined industry recognized in-depth technical education, and experience related to the position.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage or unauthorized access.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, no sponsorships considered.
Subject to pre-employment drug testing and background checks.
Required to maintain a valid driver’s license.
Requires minimal travel (up to 10%).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Industry-recognized technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A and/or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST).
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Diagnose and resolve problems associated with company standard personal computer hardware, software, peripherals, and mobile devices for the employees of MDU Resources, including its divisions and subsidiaries.
Collaborate with the IT security team to prioritize vulnerability patching on endpoints, based on threat severity and potential impact, while maintaining system performance and user productivity.
Provide backup for Mobile Device Management (MDM) system and the MyQ Printing application, processes, and coordinate work with the Managed Print vendors to support printers for all companies.
Participate in establishing company standards for all end computing devices including, but not limited to, desktops, laptops, tablets, printers/scanners, and mobile devices.
Onboard/Retire endpoint equipment following defined runbooks to ensure company standards are adhered to and hardened/destroyed per company policies to ensure corporate data security.
Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
