What are the responsibilities and job description for the Immigration Paralegal/Law Clerk position at Reid and Wise LLC?
Reid and Wise are looking for 1-2 immigration paralegal(s) or law clerk(s) for our business immigration division. The ideal candidates could be fresh law school graduates who is awaiting for bar admission or undergraduates with exceptional writing and communication skills. Reid and Wise is an international law firm, comprised of talented and dedicated attorneys. Our practice focuses on business immigration and commercial litigation.
Requirements for paralegal:
1. Bachelor's degree in related fields is required.
2. Exceptional writing skill is required.
3. Abilities to speak and write Mandarin Chinese is required.
4. Team-working ability, case management skills, and ability to deal with clients.
Requirements for law clerk:
1. J.D. or LLM degree from an accredited US law school is required.
2. Previous experience in business immigration, especially EB1A and EB2 NIW is preferred.
3. Exceptional legal writing and legal research skills.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced law firm environment and to handle a high volume of cases.
5. Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem-solving skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
