Job Summary
This position is responsible for liaising between customers, the sales team and the manufacturing plant to provide support to the operations and sales teams, and value to the customer. The Customer Service Representative is the point of contact for ensuring customers are being given accurate and real-time information regarding their orders
Essential Functions:

- Liaise between Sales, Office and Plant
- Creates a welcome and open dialogue with internal and external customers
- Provides product and service information in a timely fashion
- Processing orders: taking orders, processing returns and helping customers track orders
- Fulfilling customer requests and inquiries: documentation, sample requests and logging customer feedback
- Track purchase orders and follow up on any delivery or stock issues
- Amend purchase orders as requested/needed (expediting or moving out) and communicate changes as necessary
- Work with shipping/receiving on freight options, POD’s and tracking
- Attend production meetings to ensure on time delivery status and communicate to customers when there are potential delays.
- Manage and maintain on time delivery records
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes

Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no direct supervisory responsibility.

This position will operate both in the office and plant environments. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts as well as to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to cold, heat and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk and sit. The employee will generally average 7,500-10,000 steps per day. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Non-Exempt/ Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Associate degree (A.A..) or equivalent; or two or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
