What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at REILLY PLATING CO INC?
A Maintenance Technician performs a variety of duties as specified by an employer. Their duties may include performing general upkeep and repair of machinery, fabrication of parts, diagnose and troubleshoot problems with equipment, repair of broken plumbing, and work with others in uniform as a team.
Essential Job Functions:
Maintain the day-to-day operations.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY TO INCLUDE (but not limited to):
- Must have basic mechanical aptitude.
- Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned.
- Complete the "Preventative Maintenance Program" as assigned.
- Assist in all work being performed by outside contractors.
- Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned.
- Maintain a professional courteous manner with all contractors, and fellow employees.
- Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, City, State and Federal guidelines.
- Ensure compliance of all work related activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner.
- Follow established company policies and those outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- This job requires exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently.
- Must be team player.
- Must have good communication skills.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be willing to learn.
- Must have Industrial Electrical knowledge, including 3 Phase Wiring.
- Must have basic plumbing skills with copper, PEX, PVC, and CPVC.
