What are the responsibilities and job description for the Non-Emergency Medical Transport Driver position at Relax Transport?
The Transport Driver maintains safe and secure vehicles while ensuring passengers safely arrive to and from set destination in accordance with guidelines, licensing, regulations and philosophy of Relax Transport.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Transports passengers to set destination in accordance with guidelines
- Follow assigned routes and schedules
- Perform vehicle inspection with each use
- Collaborate with assigned staff members to address maintenance needs
- Coordinate activities with dispatchers
- Maintain proper and complete record keeping of trips completed
- All other duties as assigned
Transport Driver Education and Background Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED or a minimum of 10 years’ experience in similar employment capacity
- Driving record and driver’s license in good standing
- Knowledge of the transportation industry and logistics.
- Ability to follow GPS routes
- Experience working with electronic management systems
- Willingness to adapt to new environments and regulations
- Ability to work well independently
- Ability to work well with team members and navigate stressful situations.
- Excellent time management skills
- Good conflict resolution skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday

All passengers are required to wear mask at all times. Vehicles are sanitized regularly.
