- Be the face of the organization at recruiting events, campus programs, and community
- Define, develop, plan, & implement recruiting strategies for both online and college campus environments (We want our recruiting strategies to be on point. Or fire. Or whatever the latest term is.)
- Identify and implement new methods for sourcing candidates
- Keep our ATS updated at all times
- Develop a network of referrals (so we know when someone’s brother’s friend’s roommate’s second cousin is on the job search)
- Schedule interviews, update candidate profiles, send candidate correspondence, and onboard new hires
- Conduct interviews with candidates
- Be willing to wear multiple hats—around here, everyone takes out the trash (including the COO, because we truly are a team)
- Experience with sourcing, tracking, and managing candidate pipelines
- Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects, and candidate relationships
- Strong communication, organizational, and negotiation skills
- Experience working with passive candidates
- Ability to create and perform Boolean searches and execute other creative sourcing strategies
- Be extremely adaptable to the ever-changing needs of a fast-growing logistics company (We may work with semi-trucks, but you might have to shift gears faster than a racecar driver.)
- Quick learner—have a “knack” for technology and processes; able to figure out new systems and adapt on the go
- Problem solver—actively able to find creative solutions (if you haven’t heard, #beingthesolution is kind of our thing)
- Trustworthy—must have a proven track record of impeccable discretion with sensitive company and personal information
- Coachable attitude
- You’re not afraid to make mistakes—and you take ownership when you do mess up
- You’re a nice person who wants to work with other nice people
- Previous startup experience, preferably in a rapid, high-growth environment
- Previous experience in an advertising, sales, or marketing organization
- Previous experience working with an ATS
- Recruiting experience, agency or corporate
