Job Description: The Business Development Representative will work with the Sales Department and is responsible for managing a pipeline of existing non-fleet client accounts and policy renewals. This position is a rewarding and exciting long-term opportunity to work with a fast-paced sales organization and to grow a career within transportation insurance.
Duties & Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned by the Manager
- Correspond with existing insurance customers and manage the sales renewal pipeline
- Maintain records of current customers
- Follow Reliance Procedures for Business Development process regarding insurance coverage for clients.
- Use Reliance sales tools and CRM to manage renewal lifecycle
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Bilingual or Multilingual
- One or more years of Property & Casualty Insurance experience
- Strong prioritization and time management skills
- Strong “people skills” and a positive, can-do attitude is a must
- Ability to interact with employees and customers in a professional manner
- Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Must be organized and logical, willing to adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures
- Strong computer skills with various software including Microsoft Office, E-Mail, and Internet
- Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with others
