What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative position at Reliance State Bank?
Major Function:
Conduct appropriate transactions by answering customer questions, cross-selling products and services, and by providing excellent customer service.
Essential Duties:
- Process a variety of customer transactions, including: deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, transfers, safe deposit boxes, cashier's checks, and loan payments.
- Ensure that customers receive excellent customer service by providing accurate information and processing all transactions as efficiently as possible.
- Scan and balance daily work within given time period and by properly following operation policies and procedures, this may involve problem solving for error resolution.
- Build rapport with customers and promote bank products and services as appropriate.
- Assist customers with accessing their safe deposit boxes.
- Process various night drop and mail transactions.
- Service bank ATM as needed.
- Work with other employees to promote teamwork and good communication.
- Promote a positive bank image in the community.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education & Experience
- Cash handling experience preferred.
- Prior customer service experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Basic computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic math skills: add, subtract, and divide
- Communication skills and problem solving ability.
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to operate office equipment as necessary to complete essential duties listed above

Schedule
Regularly Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Saturday Rotation 8:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
