- Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff, including licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and certified nursing assistants (CNAs), to ensure efficient and effective delivery of care.
- Assess resident needs and develop comprehensive care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and social workers.
- Monitor resident progress and adjust care plans as necessary to promote optimal outcomes.
- Provide direct nursing care as needed, including medication administration, wound care, and other nursing interventions.
- Conduct regular rounds to assess resident conditions, address concerns, and provide support to nursing staff.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, company policies, and best practices in nursing care.
- Participate in staff education and training programs to promote professional development and maintain competency.
