Responsibilities
- Develop automated test frameworks and test cases for backend and UI components
- Collaborate with developers and QA to ensure high-quality releases
- Contribute to performance testing using K6 or JMeter
- Participate in code reviews and share testing best practices
- Support CI/CD integration of test suites
- Work closely with other development team members to understand moderately complex product requirements and translate them into software designs.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Experience in software development or test automation You’ve worked on real-world projects and understand how to build and maintain testable systems.
- Proficiency in Java (Java 8 or above, LTS versions) You’re comfortable writing testable Java code and working with modern language features.
- Experience with Playwright or similar UI automation tools You can automate browser-based testing and validate user experiences.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (K6, JMeter) You know how to simulate load and measure system responsiveness.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments You can integrate tests into automated workflows and work with Docker-based setups.
- Experience using GitHub for version control and familiarity with AI-assisted tooling like Copilot You’re comfortable working in modern development environments.
- Strong SQL skills You can write optimized queries and understand relational data models.
- Proficiency in development languages including but not limited to: Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, C/C , HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, UNIX
- Familiarity of industry best practices — code coverage.
- Ability to write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity.
- Exposure to Spring Boot and microservices
- Experience with GitHub Actions and Docker
- Familiarity with Thymeleaf and Bootstrap
- Experience with Angular or similar frontend framework
