Rely Services is a leading Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) firm founded in 1997. We partner with clients on a wide variety of outsourcing needs, such as project management, Information Technology, and back office support.
We are currently looking for a Content Writer to join our team and enrich our websites with new blog posts for multiple brands. This would start off at around 20 hours a week but there is potential for more hours once you’ve proven yourself
We are located in Schaumburg, IL and you should have the ability to meet regularly with the marketing team, Onsite
Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, generating ideas for new content types and proofreading articles before publication. If you’re familiar with producing online content and have an eye for detail, we’d like to meet you. Feel free to share samples of your work or portfolio of your published articles, along with your application. Ultimately, you’ll deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our audiences, attract customers and boost brand awareness.
Responsibilities
- Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
- Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems
- Experience with cannabis/cbd industry mandatory
- Submit work to management for input and approval
- Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
- Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
- Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
- Completing writing projects, meeting deadlines and following content requirements in terms of style and project specifications
- Revising content whenever customers or clients request changes
- Helping create style guides or suggesting changes to ensure content is consistent and clear
- Conducting research on any given topic
- Writing engaging content for blogs, ebooks, case studies, video scripts, infographics and other assets
- Staying up to date on industry trends to support content development
- Distilling complex concepts and language into content that is easily understood
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging, branding and style
- Managing and completing work on time for multiple content writing
projects - Working with content strategists to build editorial calendars
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role
- Portfolio of published articles
- Experience doing research using multiple sources
- Familiarity with web publications
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English
- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems such as Squarespace, WIX, etc
- Ability to meet deadlines
