Admin in mortgage industry experience requiredOur client, a Mortgage company is hiring a Foreclosure Assistant. This position is responsible for processing accounts payable duties within Default such as the timely processing of Fees/Costs request, invoices and payoff request. Type: Temp (possible perm hire if performance is good)Start Date: ASAP Location: Onsite, San Diego, CA 92111 Pay Rate: $22.56 - $25/hr (depending on experience)Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm PST Position Summary:Prepare audit folder and assemble all required documents with flags at the conclusion of the foreclosure process. Review and process daily approved invoices for Foreclosure department and dispute payment if it exceeds guidelines. Process refunds of deposits. Prepares and distributes sales results notifications to investors and senior management as needed. Perform internet research to identify utilities and HOAs; make any corresponding payments and transfer accounts as necessary. Update data in internal systems with status. Create summaries and spreadsheets upon request. Qualifications· 2 yrs of experience in an administrative role in consumer mortgage industry, or in a back office financial services environment, preferably in mortgage duties. Highly organized and detail oriented; ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment required. Strong with numbers, comfortable doing excel calculations.Basic proficiency with data entry, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. 10-key by touch preferred.
