Director of Nursing
Dutchess County Skilled Nursing Facility is seeking a Director of Nursing.
Our LTC is seeking a Full-Time RN Director of Nursing.
Applicants should have strong leadership and supervisory skills. The Director of Nursing plans, organizes, develops, and directs the overall operation of the Nursing department to ensure the highest degree of quality resident care in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations and standards.
Direct the daily routine functioning of the nursing staff by assuring the overall supervision of all nursing personnel concerned with resident care and ensuring compliance.
Qualifications
- Excellent multitasking and organization skills
- Ability to lead and instruct others
- Interpersonal skills
- Verbal and written communication
- Up-to-date knowledge of nursing practices, methods and tools
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Supervising experience: 2 years (Preferred)
- RN is required, successful completion of the State Board Examination for licensing.
