Position Details
- Schedule: Part-time; 25–28 hours per week. Shifts available Monday through Saturday between 10:00 AM and 9:00 PM. Holiday shifts may be required.
- Pay: Base pay of $18 per hour commission.
- Earning Potential: Target $1,000–$3,000 biweekly. Performance-based incentives—your results drive your income.
- Position Type: Part-time, non-benefited, non-exempt, at-will position.
Responsibilities
- Engage with homeowners in assigned neighborhoods to generate appointment leads.
- Educate potential customers about our products and services in a clear, professional manner.
- Schedule firm in-home consultations for Design Consultants.
- Represent Renewal By Andersen with enthusiasm and professionalism.
- Track daily canvassing activity and report performance improvements.
- Travel to assigned areas to connect with homeowners, build rapport within communities, and attend quarterly or as-needed meetings at the Salt Lake City office.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on canvassing requirements and company needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be available to work weekends and evenings.
- Successful candidates are highly communicative, personable, and comfortable engaging with prospective customers in a fast-paced setting.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
- Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Report check
- Previous canvassing/neighborhood marketing experience (preferred).
- Previous sales and marketing experience (required).
- Basic computer skills.
- Employment offer contingent on a clean, basic background check.
Working & Physical Conditions
- Outdoor canvassing with travel between neighborhoods.
- Exposure to varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, wind).
- Work in bright or low-light settings as needed.
- Fast-paced environment, working independently and with a team.
- Requires physical stamina for prolonged movement or stationary engagement (4–8 hours).
- Comfortable walking on sidewalks, stairs, and uneven terrain.
- Manual dexterity for handling marketing materials and equipment.
